Kiris was born a member of the Baycroft family, a small house on the edge of Cerul, but was never in line to be the head. Instead he intended to train for the matching season on merit more than house. He was a gifted trident weilder and would train in the waters around cerul using his triton abilities to the best of his power to aid in training.

One day while out Kiris saw the light of the sun shining through the eye of a storm and in that moment of pure beauty decided to instead dedicate his time to helping people understand balance. He joined the church of Sun and Skies and focused his sermons on finding balance and peace in the grey areas where nothing is truly set and the joy that can come from beauty.

He eventually rose to the rank of cardinal where he was able to meet many of the social elite and has aided them eversense. Particularly those of House Tempest.

Kiris attended the matching season supporting those of House Tempest and his cousin, Aerulius Baycroft. Kiris expecting it to be a matching season like any other he set up introductions, organized information cards by person, for each person's preference and pre-wrote letters of introduction for each of his charges. In the chaos of the ball Kiris was told Lady Merauda Tempest needed aid and tried to get to a platform where he could protect both his cousin's seal, and the countess. Unfortunatly his leap of faith ended in his death as he landed on the spikes in the orchestra pit.
