Dolus

A dandy with a sharp tongue who always arrives late and overdressed. He seems to know gossip before it even occurs, and manages to be an eager spectator for every major scandal. He comments constantly on the behaviour of others while vacillating between detached boredom and gleeful intrigue. His motivations are never clear: he’ll flatter or roast according to whim. He’s gotten in trouble a few times for saying wildly inappropriate things, but for the most part he’s left to flit about and whisper half-truths into the ears of whoever he fancies.
