Tragedy has struck the Armadeums as the week of dates continues, and whether the new Empress keeps things hidden from the public or not, there is no denying that Arma is in trouble. As secret councils form and hidden agendas are made, a duel is proclaimed and all are made to gather and witness who will be victorious. Will it be Gilgamesh Von Marche III or Nubarron Tempest? As final bets are placed and the duel unfolds, a question rings out from the challenged that calls into consideration the reason for the matching seasons existence.

In the wake of the duel, members of Cerul say goodbye to those they loved and begin plotting anew, for the matching season has just begun, and amidst the chaos of heartbreak, demigods enter into the season, dates, and plotting schemes, there is still much to be done. But as snow falls on the denizens and visitors to the castle and farewells are had, Elyan resolves himself in his conviction and sets in place the pieces to end the matching season for good.
